We had school delayed a couple hours today, so left the house a little after 10:00. The children were so thrilled with the ice and snow. They loved the sound of the crunching ice. Jordan was so excited about it that she asked me "mommy, can I crunch some more ice after school?"
But what I really wanted to write about is something else she said. Simple, yet profound. As we were driving to school, she said "Mommy, there is so much snow all around, it is like there is a white blanket covering the whole earth."
Love it!
